Work Through Feeling Stuck

Wanting a change while another part of you resists it isn't a contradiction to push through - it's information. Parts Work starts from the idea that different parts of you can have different wants, needs, and beliefs. Rather than fighting that conflict, we get curious about what each part is trying to accomplish or protect, which is often where new possibilities open up.

Internal conflict and feeling stuck hypnotherapy in Rochester, New York

Why you feel pulled in two directions

Internal conflict - wanting to change while something in you resists - usually means two parts of you have different priorities, not that you're failing to commit. One part may want to move forward while another holds you back to keep you safe from something.

An approach built around you, not a script

Maggie's work explores what each part is trying to accomplish or protect (Parts Work), and uses Core Transformation to look at the deeper need underneath the conflict, not just the surface behavior. The goal isn't a rigid treatment plan - it's an initial personal change map you build together: what you're noticing, where you might explore, and what makes sense to try first.

Maggie Heath, CH, MNLP trained professionally in hypnosis and NLP in 2001 and has worked with people through fears, longstanding patterns, and moments of feeling stuck for over two decades.
